SUMMARY:Harvest Hoofbeats Ride
DESCRIPTION:We (Atlantic Canada Trail Riding Association) are excited to an
 nounce the Harvest Hoofbeats Ride to be held October 19th 2024 at Hobby Ho
 rse Farm\, Coldbrook.  Ride the beautiful-marked woodland trails along th
 e valley’s South mountain. Harvest Hoofbeats Ride is perfect as an intro
 ductory to Endurance riding or as a challenging conditioning ride in a saf
 e and supportive environment. As an ACTRA- sanctioned ride\, we are welcom
 ing riders from NS\, NB and PEI and encouraging riders to sign up as ACTRA
  members although membership is not necessary to participate.\n\nThe ride 
 consists of a 12-mile or a 25-mile marked trail where riders present their
  horse for a Vet check at the start\, mid-way and end of ride. The horse
 ’s pulse\, respiration\, overall condition and soundness is recorded. It
  is a great opportunity to have a DMV hands on your horse at least 2 times
  in a day! Horse-rider combinations are timed and awards and prizes are pr
 ovided.\n\nMake it a weekend and arrive Friday night for the “Hoofbeat M
 ovie Night and Social”\, Saturday competition and trailer out on Sunday 
 at your leisure after another ride on these legendary trails!\n\nRide Opti
 ons: 1.) 12 mile Introductory Endurance Ride - INE (ACTRA Membership not r
 equired) OR 2.) 25 mile Limited Distance Ride - LD (ACTRA Membership IS r
