DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nMud Run Judged Pleasure Ride 2026\n\nSunday\, May 17\, 
 2026 - if you are riding you must be on site by 10:00 am.\n\nThis Judged P
 leasure ride is a fun 15 mile ride over easy\, well marked trails. We will
  ride on a combination of the Rails to Trail\, gravel roads\, and dirt tra
 cks to the halfway hold of 30 min before you turn around and ride back to 
 ride camp along the same route. This is a great introduction ride for newb
 ies or novices. The ride camp at the Stanley Mosherville Hall at 346 Highw
 ay 236 in Stanley\, Hants Co\, NS\, has space to park your trailer and has
  water for your horse and a bathroom for the riders.\n\nAfter the ride\, w
 e celebrate with a lovely home cooked supper before handing out the awards

 pected by the judge before and after the ride - and checked for health/fit
 ness at the halfway hold (we call this 'fit to continue')\n\nHoof protecti
 on is recommended due to crushed stone on the gravel roads.\n\nThe suggest
 ed ride time of this event is about 4 hours at mostly walk/trot but since 
 this is a Judged Pleasure ride there is no time limit.\n\nPlease complete 
 and submit the ACTRA sanctioned ride entry form attached below and/or foun
 d on our website under Forms at www.atlanticriders.ca before May 15th. T
 he completed entry form should be sent to the Ride Secretary\, Kim Crowell
  at: kimcrowell01@bellaliant.net. E-transfers for payment can also be sen
 t to Kim’s email address or a cheque mailed to: Kim Crowell\, P.O. Box 1
 36 Shubenacadie\, NS\, B0N 2H0. Entry is not considered complete until the
  form and entry fee have both been received. Late fee of $10 per entry app
 lies to entries received after 10 pm\, May 11\, 2026.\n\nRefunds: Entry fe
 e will be returned if a rider is unable to attend less a $10.00 admin fee.
  We ride rain or shine.\n\nYou must be a member of your provincial sport o
 rganization to participate in this event (insurance requirement)\, but you
  don't have to be a member of ACTRA. New members always welcome!\n\nIf you
  are coming from a distance and want to overnight closer to the ride camp\
 , but don't know what options are available\, please reach out to Lucy Rud
 ge or Kim Crowell as there are some members that live closer to the ride c
 amp that can provide stalls or paddocks for turnout for the horses and a p
 lace to sleep for the humans.\n\nIf you would like to volunteer at the rid
 e\, please contact either Lucy Rudge or Kim Crowell via email or messenger
 . All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.\n\n\n\n\n\nmeals:\n\nBrea
 kfast: muffins and pastries plus coffee\, tea and/or juice. Lunch: Light l
 unch of sandwiches\, fruit\, snacks and water will be provided to riders a
 nd volunteers. Supper: menu is tbd but it will be a home cooked meal and d
 esserts. If you are bringing an extra person and they want to join in for 
 supper - add $10 to your entry - can also be added the day of the ride. So
 rry but we are not able to accommodate special dietary needs. If you have
